Since founding the Drunken Master brand in 2014, Li has played an active role in Taiwan’s whisky scene as a bar operator, event curator, and whisky advocate. After opening his first whisky bar in 2016, he launched Whisky Fair Takao in 2017, which has grown into a leading whisky festival in Southern Taiwan. In 2023, he brought the renowned Highlander Inn brand to Taipei under license before relocating and rebranding it as Nova Whisky Bar in Kaohsiung in 2025. In 2026, he further expanded into whisky production with the establishment of Nova Whisky Distillery.

Alice has been part of Whisky Fair Takao since its very first edition, growing alongside the festival over the years. After assisting with event operations from 2022 onward, she officially assumed the role of Festival Organizer in 2025. In addition to managing Bear Bar at Kaohsiung’s Formosa Boulevard MRT Station, Alice actively promotes a variety of spirits through tastings and educational events. As a certified Kikizakeshi (Japanese Sake Sommelier), she brings a diverse perspective and extensive knowledge of the world of alcoholic beverages.
